More than 100 world leaders agreed to end and reverse deforestation by 2030.
Joe Biden's described the plan as the 'first of its kind'.
"Forests have the potential to reduce carbon globally by one third.
"We need to approach this issue with the same seriousness of purpose as decarbonising our economies."
