Bitcoin's price has plummeted below $20,000 for the first time since November 2020 - the digital asset sector now finds itself in crisis.
The drop has erased years of gains for long-term holders.

Cryptocurrencies weren't the only investments hit hard - the S and P 500, and index which tracks the performance of 500 large companies on the US stock market, had it's worst week since 2020
