The Taoiseach has wished Boris Johnson "a speedy recovery" after he was moved into intensive care in hospital.
The British Prime Minister's being treated for Covid-19 and was transferred into ICU last night after his condition worsened.
A spokesperson says the decision was taken as a precaution and in case he needs access to a ventilator.
The British Foreign Secretary will step in, where necessary, and take over Mr Johnson's duties.
Dominic Raab is confident he's getting the very best care.
"The Prime Minister is in great hands with a great team at St Thomas' Hospital.
"The focus of the government will continue to be on making sure the Prime Minister's direction, all the plans for making sure that we can defeat coronavirus and we can pull the country through this challenge can be taken forward."
