Britain's Ministry of Defence says Russian forces are continuing to reinforce crossing points over the Dnipro river.
It comes as the Ukrainian military continues a counter-offensive in the strategic Kherson region.
It's an area that was annexed and put under martial law by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
