The British Prime Minister hasn't ruled out taking extra steps to deal with concerns over the Northern Ireland protocol.

It follows reports the UK government is planning a new law that would scrap parts of the Brexit deal agreed in relation to the North.

The measure could be announced after the Stormont Assembly elections.

Boris Johnson says talks are continuing to resolve differences with the EU:

"We've talked repeatedly to our friends and partners in the in the EU. We'll continue to talk to them, but as I've said many times now, we don't rule out taking further steps if that's necessary".
