The Minister for Foreign Affairs Simon Coveney says yesterday was a tragic and challenging day in Afghanistan after bomb attacks at Kabul airport.
85 people were killed in the terror attacks and dozens injured.
15 Irish people got out on the first flight following the terror attacks while the government is working to remove an additional 75 Irish citizens, residents and family members from the country.
Minister Coveney says they are also trying to bring the families of Afghan people living here, to Ireland;
