The creator of Derry Girls is in line for the freedom of the city.
SDLP councillor Martin Reilly nominated Lisa McGee - who wrote the hit comedy series - for bringing joy and civic pride to Derry.
She says it's an "absolute honour" to be the first woman considered for the accolade.
