In the UK, a 'critical incident' has been declared in the Port of Dover over long delays.
Queues spilled into the town, with the port's bosses blaming 'woefully inadequate' staffing on the French side.
Problems seem to be stemming back from immigration controls on the border.
P-and-O Ferries is estimating it'll take at least six hours to get through.
British Foreign Office minister, Graham Stuart, insists the UK government's doing all it can to help:
"Inevitably every year at this time, there are queues. We've been working closely with the French authorities because it's their staff, in essence, it's their ability to cope that is causing the backlog. They've added three additional booths".
