The Department of Foreign Affairs says it's aware of the case of a missing 22-year-old Irish woman in Israel.
Kim Damti holds joint Irish and Israeli citizenship and has been unaccounted for since Saturday when the Hamas attacks began.
Her mother Jennifer told ABC News of her pain waiting for an update on her daughter:
"I can't sleep. All I can think about is where she is, 'Is she suffering? Is she still alive?'. I just want her back".
