It's to mark World Down Syndrome Day today
A purple 5k fun run had originally been planned in the Phoenix Part this Sunday to mark the event, however it had to be called off due to the Covid-19 crisis.
Instead, DSI are calling on people to post photos of them in funky sock online with the hashtag LotsOfSocks4DSI to raise awareness and donations.
CEO of Down Syndrome Ireland Deirdre Saul says they had to think outside the box this year to mark the day.
