€750,000 was donated to the Irish Red Cross by the Irish public within 24 hours of their Ukraine appeal.
Donations made on its website or through revolut will support the work of the international organisation in Ukraine and it's surrounding countries.
The Red Cross is responding to severe water shortages in Ukraine's Donbas region as infrastructure serving more than 1 million people is out of order.
It also works to support health facilities, reconnect families and provide life-saving food and shelter.
