France's most iconic landmark, the Eiffel Tower, is apparently riddled with rust and needs repairs, but won't be repainted until just before the 2024 Olympic Games.
French magazine, Marianne, says 30% of the structure in Paris was supposed to have been stripped and given two fresh coats.
But it claims only 5% will be treated, partly due to pandemic-related delays.
