Elon Musk has decided to reinstate the Twitter accounts of several high-profile journalists, after a huge backlash.
The platform's owner claimed they were revealing his private jet's location in real time -- saying it was 'basically assassination coordinates' for his family.
The suspensions triggered a strong global reaction.
Earlier, UN spokesman Stéphane Dujarric described the move as disturbing.
"Media voices should not be silenced on a platform that professes to be a space for freedom of speech. You know, from our standpoint, the move sets a dangerous precedent".
