Expert involved in University of Oxford trial says there's a 'small chance' of a coronavirus vaccine before Christmas

That's according to one senior British expert involved in the University of Oxford trial.

The NHS England's told GPs to prepare to to start delivering jabs as early as next month.

The chair of the UK's vaccine taskforce Kate Bingham has been telling MPs about the chance of a successful one getting rid of Covid-19 in the next year.

"To wipe out Coronavirus I think very slim," she said.

"To get a vaccine that has an effect both reducing illness and reducing mortality I think very high".
