The owners of Facebook and Instagram says it's making content from Russian state-controlled accounts harder to find.
The company is also going to flag links to those sites to try and stop the spread of misinformation about the invasion of Ukraine.
A number of Ukrainian nationals protested outside the headquarters of Meta and Google in Dublin earlier asking them to take tougher action.
