Finland has confirmed it will apply to join NATO, despite Russia's president warning it would be a mistake to do so.
A formal membership application is expected to be submitted in Brussels next week.
Finland's President Sauli Niinisto says Russia's invasion of Ukraine has changed the security environment in Europe.
Sweden has also indicated it intends to apply for NATO membership.
