Five people have been charged with administering ketamine to Friends star Matthew Perry.
He was found dead in a pool at his home last October, having overdosed on the drug.
Two doctors are alleged to have charged the actor 2-thousand dollars for a vial they bought for just 12.
Ann Milgram - who works with the US Drug Enforcement Administration - says they saw him as a way to make quick money:
"The desperation that led Perry to these individuals was not met with help as it should have been from the doctors. Instead it was met with exploitation. Exploitation by those who should have guided him toward help in".
Martin Estrada is the district attorney for Central California:
"The defendant saw this as an opportunity to profit off of Mr. Perry. He wrote in a text message quote, 'I wonder how much this moron will pay in' in September 2023."
