The Foreign Affairs Minister says the Stormont Assembly is under its greatest threat in 25 years.
It comes just five days before the Northern Ireland elections next Thursday.
The DUP collapsed the executive early due to the Brexit Protocol, and is threatening not to return after May 5th.
Minister Simon Coveney says he's very concerned about the situation:
"In the almost 25 years since the peace agreement was made in Northern Ireland, the institutions of that peace agreement, the Good Friday Agreement, are perhaps more under threat now than they've been at any point in that 25 years. And that is something that I and others need to address, again with calmness and intelligence, given the complexity of some of those issues".
