The Foreign Affairs Minister's welcoming the announcement of a two month truce in Yemen.
Simon Coveney's commending all those who've worked tirelessly to bring about this agreement, particularly UN Special Envoy Grundberg and his office.
He says the people of Yemen have suffered for far too long, and this truce can bring much needed respite from violence.
He adds Ireland strongly supports the efforts of the UN to bring an end to the conflict.
The violence has killed tens of thousands of people and pushed millions into hunger.
