Donald Trump's former adviser Steve Bannon has been convicted after refusing to co-operate with a hearing investigating last year's deadly US Capitol riots.
He claims he thought the legal deadlines he was given were flexible and subject to negotiation.
Bannon now faces up to two years in jail but claims he'll reverse the case on a "bullet-proof appeal".
He told journalists waiting outside court in Washington DC that he had no regrets:
"I only have one disappointment. And that is the gutless members of that show trial committee, the J6x committee, didn't have the guts to come down here and testify in open court".
