People who aren't fully vaccinated will still need to test and isolate.

The changes comes into effect the same day as the new EU Digital Covid Cert.

Vice President of the Irish Travel Agents Association, Clare Dunne, says their sector's had a very busy week as people prepare to travel:

"Once they started arriving this week in people's email boxes, people were getting excited. We started to get calls almost straight away from people inquiring about could they travel in July, August this year; could they start making plans for later in the year, for next year. I think once they had it in their hands and they saw it, and they realised, yep this is actually happening, they then felt comfortable making plans."
