Gardaí have carried out a significant amount of arrests as part of a worldwide investigation into West African crime gangs.
Around 135 people were charged in relation to money laundering and fraudulent emails sent for an African crime group known as 'Black Axe'.
Gardaí carried out searches of nine premises in Clare and Dublin.
It's believed more than 4 thousand 'money mules', some of which are Black Axe gang members, are residing in Ireland.
