A Cork man living in Hawaii is calling on Elon Musk to send resources to help with the wildfires in Maui.
Peter O'Riordan has been updating his Twitter followers after his family home was burned down to the ground.
The former Xpose presenter who relocated to Maui, said his family had to leave their two cats behind when they fled the house to find safety and are now trying to find them.
“Give us access to the satellites,” he urged the Twitter and Tesla owner.
“We need communication with people that are still stuck on the westside [of the island] and communication between all of us that are volunteering and bringing stuff over.
“It is vitally important.
“Get it together. You are a billionaire, send the help we need.”
The official death toll in Hawaii is now 101 and hundreds are still missing.
It is understood that search teams have only covered a quarter of the town Lahina.
