The Governor of Kentucky says up to 100 people may have died after a series of tornadoes hit the US overnight.
The storm's thought to have travelled around 200 miles, bringing destruction across Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee and Kentucky.
Emergency crews in Illinois are responding to reports of multiple injuries at an Amazon warehouse.
Kentucky appears to have suffered the worst damage, particularly the city of Mayfield.
Michael Dossett, is the state's Director of Emergency Management:
"This tornado event may surpass the 1974 Super Outbreak as one of the most deadly in Kentucky's history. Our hearts go out to all of the families that are in peril and all of our Kentuckians who have lost their lives."
