An investigation's been ordered after the world's second-biggest trawler shed more than 100,000 dead fish into the Atlantic.

The fishing industry group PFA, which represents the owner of the vessel, FV Margiris, says the spill off France was caused by a tear in a net.

But one environmental organisation believes it was done on purpose.

The French maritime minister's described what's happened as 'shocking'.
