Irish holiday-goers may have to sleep with one eye open if they're visiting Spain this summer.
It's after a health watchdog there has issued a warning in relation to a new bed bug, which feeds on human blood.
The insect, which is between 5 and 6 millimetres in length, has been found in various hotels in the country.
The National Association of Environmental Health Companies says bites from the bug can cause discomfort, allergies, insomnia and stress.
