Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's ruled out a ceasefire in Gaza, instead quoting from the Bible and declaring it's "time for war".
His country is celebrating the release of a soldier held hostage by Hamas, after troops and tanks pushed deeper into the territory.
But the UN's warning continued air strikes are hitting closer to hospitals, where tens of thousands of Palestinians have sought shelter.

"This is day four now of this expanded ground operation, with the military saying that they are pursuing Hamas. The goals they've been given are, in the Prime Minister's words, to destroy Hamas, but also to rescue the hostages".
