Israel's military says it's effectively cut the Gaza strip in two - with its troops fully encircling Gaza City.
The territory's also enduring its third phone and internet blackout since the Israel-Hamas war began.
Meanwhile the US secretary of state's in Turkey to call for a break in fighting.
But Sky's Deborah Haynes in southern Israel says authorities there are adamant that won't be happening:
"They are pushing on as hard as ever, despite this growing condemnation from other countries in the region, and the concern around the world about the growing civilian death toll".
