Italy's Government Puts Entire Country Into Lockdown To Attempt To Halt Spread Of Coronavirus

Italy's government has locked down the entire country to try to halt the relentless march of the coronavirus across Europe.

Giuseppe Conte says the tough new measures will come into effect this morning and people shouldn't move other than for work and emergencies.

More than 460 people have died from Covid-19 in Italy.

In the U.S. two members of congress are in quarantine.
