The family of the teenager has welcomed the news

The body of the French Irish teenager was found about 2km from the family's holiday home, the Dusun Rainforest Resort, in August.

Police there concluded the 15 year old, who had special needs, had died of natural causes and authorities initially refused the inquest.

However, officials said yesterday an inquest WILL now begin on the 24th of August.

Her family said the inquest will be crucial in determining the fullest possible picture of what happened to Nóra and how her case was dealt with.
