Minister Simon Coveney is due to meet the Ukrainian Foreign Minister at the Munich Security Conference this weekend.
He has called on leaders to move toward 'de-escalation, stabilisation and diplomacy'.
Minister Coveney is also scheduled to take part in talks aimed at a full return to the Iran Nuclear deal and stability in Africa.
Boris Johnson is also in attendance and will say there's "still a chance to avoid unnecessary bloodshed" in Ukraine.
