It's understood negotiators from Israel, the US, Egypt and Qatar have agreed a plan to release the remaining American and Israeli hostages being held by Hamas.
It would see hostages released in phases, with a pause in fighting, and aid deliveries to Gaza would also form part the agreement.
US National Security Council spokesman, John Kirby, says it's "promising."
