A new fibre optic laser treatment, could transform the lives of people with epilepsy.
The procedure uses lasers to target the part of the brain which is causing seizures and is far safer than conventional surgery.
Chantal Spittles from Epilepsy Action UK says it's a 'game-changing' breakthrough:
"It actually means that they're not subject to that invasive procedure, but also it means that they can recover much much quicker and get back to their usual life and activities much more quickly".
