No Russian act will participate in this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
The European Broadcasting Union made the decision after a recommendation from the contest's governing body, based on the rules and values of the union.
It believes that in light of the crisis in Ukraine, the inclusion of a Russian entry would bring the competition into disrepute.
