In the North, the DUP's gained 2 unionist councillors.
Councillors Alan Lewis and Henry Reilly both sit on Newry, Mourne and Down council.
The former has defected from the UUP and the latter has been in the UUP, UKIP, TUV and most recently sat as an independent.
