A 25 year old man has appeared in court in the North, charged with the murder of a 37 year old woman, found dead at her home in county Armagh earlier this week.
Kornelijus Bracas, originally from Lithuania - with an address at Church Street in Portadown, is accused of murdering Alesia Nazarova and attempting to murder her daughter.
He appeared via video link before Lisburn Magistrates' Court this morning - no application was made for bail and no further details emerged during the hearing.
Ms Nazarova's body was discovered after a fire at her home in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Her 12-year-old daughter was rescued from the property and taken to hospital for treatment.
