Officials in Ukraine say Russia's launched a "massive missile attack", knocking out power and forcing people to take cover across the country.
At least two people have died in an attack in President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's hometown, with a third fatality reported in the southern Kherson region.
The capital Kyiv's also been hit, where residents have been sheltering inside underground train stations.
