The Olympic Games have been postponed until 2021.
Japan's Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, has made a formal request to the International Olympic Committee to postpone the games due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Abe says that IOC president Thomas Bach agreed "100%" with the proposal.
The games will now take place in 2021, but will still be branded "Tokyo 2020", according to Tokyo governor Yuriko Koike.
