Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe, who was 74, passed away in hospital, where he'd refused treatment for Covid-19
He murdered at least 13 women in the north of England in the 1970s and was jailed for life in 1981.
Richard McCann is the son of Sutcliffe's first victim, Wilma McCann:
"He ruined so many lives and has gone down in history, in the same league I suppose, as someone like Hitler. He murdered people again and again and again. The legacy he leaves is just almost like a tornado that went through Yorkshire in the north of England."
