Pakistan's prime minister has been ousted in a no-confidence vote, after several of Imran Khan's allies and a key coalition party deserted him.

He's been under pressure - after struggling to tackle corruption and revive the economy.

Pakistan's parliament will choose a new prime minister next week - the top candidate's Shehbaz Sharif, younger brother of three-time Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif.
