The British Prime Minister probably would have lost a no confidence vote if it took place after last night's by-elections, according to political expert.
Boris Johnson is under increasing pressure after losing two seats, including one in a traditional Conservative stronghold.
Dr Kevin Cunningham from Technological University Dublin says it's a pattern that has emerged in recent by-elections.
He says that's why there is more pressure on Boris Johnson now.
