A Red Weather alert has been issued for the British Columbia province of Canada for the first time, as a 'catastrophic' storm approaches.
It's the second serious weather event in a couple of weeks after parts of the region were flooded from heavy rain.
Search and rescue teams were forced to work overnight, plucking stranded homeowners from their roofs into helicopters earlier this month.
A meteorologist said on Friday that the landscape is 'totally saturated' in some parts, so any additional moisture that falls could aggravate the floods further.
