There are reports that many Ukrainian refugees are battling extreme grief and trauma.
Victoria Sushko is a theatre sound-director from Odessa who fled Ukraine by car with her sister, brother-in-law, their three children and her dog.
She says many refugees are easily frightened by loud or sudden noises, and are struggling to cope with the uncertainty of the future - including having no homes to return to.
Speaking to RedFM News, Victoria says that many refugees are very homesick:
"It's really hard not to be able to come home, to lay down in your bed, to go in to your kitchen. It's... it's hard. And nobody... Nobody knows when it will stop and what is going to be because people are affected by this war - even when they hear even some loud sound, people are scared, people are really scared - but I hope time will heal us, and we will be able to come back to our place. But very many people don't have their homes anymore".
