Russian President Vladimir Putin has attended an Easter mass in Moscow, carried out by the Russian Orthodox Church which has strongly backed his invasion of Ukraine.
He was seen at the midnight service, holding a candle.
There are concerns the war has caused a split within the church, though.
On Friday, Pope Francis cancelled plans to meet Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill.
Oligarch Konstantin Malofeev who runs religious channel Zagred TV - insists Moscow's offensive is a "holy war":
