The secretary general of NATO says the military alliance is prepared for every eventuality and will protect all of its members.
That includes the newest ones, Sweden and Finland.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin warned Moscow will respond "in kind" if NATO sets up more military sites in the Nordic countries.
