A senior officer in Texas has admitted the wrong decision was made in not storming a classroom sooner, during a mass shooting on Tuesday which left 19 children and 2 teachers dead.
They now say they shouldn't have waited for a team to break the gunman’s barricade.
Authorities have also revealed children called 911 to beg for help as the gunman was firing in Uvalde.
