Several parts of Madagascar are on high alert as a cyclone with winds of up to around 190 kilometres per hour is expected to hit.
Residents on the island have been securing their homes and filling their shelves before the storm lands.
Officials say around 4.4 million people are at risk - with more than 150,000 of them likely to be displaced.
