They got into difficulty while descending from the peak of Kebnekaise at around 9:30 last night.
Most of the group weren't experienced hikers and some were wearing shorts and t-shirts.
The men were rescued just before 8 o'clock this morning when conditions allowed a helicopter to find them - and are safe and well.
Rickard Svedjesten, president of Sweden's Mountain Rescue Organisation, says the conditions overnight were very tough:
"It was minus 10 degrees cold and windy and cloudy as well so they did a really good job to keep the heat up in the body, and so on, until this morning."
