Snow is also affecting a number of flights across Europe.
There are delayed arrivals to Dublin Airport from a number of locations this morning, including London, Lisbon and Amsterdam.
In the UK, Manchester Airport says it's temporarily closed both its runways because of snow - as forecasters warn of travel disruption caused by the freezing temperatures.
Sky meteorologist Jo Edwards says freezing fog and ice could also disrupt road and rail travel across the UK until early next week:
"We're looking at daytime highs, probably of only around one or two degrees Celsius. By the middle of next week, those values going to be sub-zero, even in the middle of the day".
