Taoiseach Micheál Martin is in Northern Ireland for meetings with the main political parties.
He's urging them to work together to form an Executive Government.
Micheál Martin also intends to discuss the British Government's plans to legislate to address legacy issues in Northern Ireland.
Sinn Féin's Michelle O'Neill says his presence today is welcome:
"I think it's important that he's here to assert his role as co-guarantor and I think it's really, really important that he listens to all the parties. I mean there are parties here that want to be in the government together, there are parties that want to be in the executive, but unfortunately the DUP - sponsored by the British government - are holding back all of that progress".
